"I've always loved cars but never really liked working on them. With RC cars, it's a lot more manageable for me since its a smaller scale. 🙂 I got into RC cars with my brother when we were kids and it has made its ways back into my life as an adult. RC drift is more of my style because it's not a race. I'm usually the slower person, so it works out for me. I got into it all for the fun of it but now I'm sticking around for the competitive part of it. IM HOOKED!"

"I bought my first ever hobby-grade RC drift car when I was 14 at D1GP at Irwindale Speedway in Southern California in 2007 when D1 was still being held in the U.S. It was an HPI E10 all wheel drive ready to run chassis with a red AE86 Trueno body. Nothing serious for 14 year old me. Just something for me to play around with in front of the house. Around 2016-2017 is when I noticed rear wheel drive RC drifting really start to take off in America with the new Yokomo YD-2 chassis and the MST RMX and I knew I wanted to get further into the hobby than the E10 would ever get me but was too involved with my real S14s at the time to be able to afford yet another hobby. Fast forward to 2021 as I was getting out of a different hobby and had some money to spare, I finally decided to pull the trigger on my first rear wheel drive RC drift car. I picked up a used YD-2 R-Plus locally, ironically a few streets down from where we would open RG. A few months after that, four of us decided to invest our time and money and take our RC drifting out of the garage and into Sacramento’s first drift dedicated RC shop and indoor track and here we are now as a growing, thriving business and part of the RC drifting community. Many RC drift chassis and countless long days and late nights of tuning and research later, I think I can say that I’ve scaled a big part of my passion for cars down to a 1/10th of the scale. It’s been a wild, crazy and fun ride so far in this hobby and I can’t wait to see where my RC drifting and RG goes next!"

And I’m always competitive whether RC drifting or FPS games. 3-time back-to-back champion for Rainbow Six Siege and almost went pro on that game! "Growing up I've always been a gear head. From real drifting to 1/10 scale it has always caught my interest. I joined Tech1drift back in 2012 when I had a family owned automotive shop and decided to turn it into an RC drift shop by night. I guess you could say I had the first RC drift track in the Antelope Valley. Back then we were on AWD, no gyro, limited steering, and very limited knowledge for RC drifting. Then I disappeared from the scene until March 2023 for a massive comeback!"
